At first was intimidated by my lack of knowledge on what you’re supposed to do at a Buddhist temple. But there’s a ton of educational materials here in both Chinese and English for the beginner. The library is also nice! Will be back for more reading Edit: have been coming back here almost every week to study and read their materials. A very relaxing environment.

Although it is different from the appearance of traditional temples, it is very good in both momentum and style.

My friends & I recently visited the temple for our school project we had a wonderful experience but have some remaining questions. We were curious about the temples design & the statues around it? What is the meaning behind the design of the temple?

The design of the Fo Guang Shan Temple is the image of the Buddha's palms. One faces to the left hand side, and another faces to the right side.

I am a English speaking shen Buddhist relocated from nevada. Would this temple be able to accommodate my worship needs?
