I took a young lady to this place and they made us wait for more than 7 hours. It was very difficult for this young lady to be waiting for so long and then she was sent to another center in Concord; where we waited and had to fill out paper work again! The people in the front desk were nice, but the people who did the paper work were very slow, and they did not communicated well. On top of that they were rude. I tried to be understanding but they have to change the way they do things because the people seeking help go there in crisis. They need a speedy process, respect and mercy.

This place is absolutely terrible because of the staff- especially the short woman (if you know, you know) The detox facility itself is amazing. Just like the daymark in Kannapolis- it's a 0 star and a nightmare due to the staff. Some of the staff are amazing and truly want to help. I've always been respectful but these staff workers are passive-aggressive, on a high power-trip and want to see you fail. Some pick and choose who they even intake and make some wait 8-9+ just to say they can't let you detox. Some staff workers at Monroe/Kannapolis REALLY need to go ASAP.

A family member went here and waited > 3 months for a visit with the doctor. Her medication was time- sensitive as well. Neither front desk or doctor cared. It’s sad they couldn’t refer someone to somewhere asap.
