Great small venue in Winston Salem! I didn't have the option but I give it 4.5 Stars rating, don't take me wrong but the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because I think they just need to improve their sound a little and the stage lighting ,it's not bad at all but could be a little better (constructive criticism) . Other than that, I loved the place, everything was perfect. Nice and clean restrooms, nice bar with good bartenders, everyone that works there seemed to be nice, practically All the staff was great!! Would definitely go back for other shows. Thank you "The Ramkat" and your staff for a great evening with Monsieur Periné, I enjoyed it very much!

Depends on what you prefer! If you want to be right down in front, I would recommend the floor reserved seat. If you like to be a little bit out of the action but with a good view of the stage, I would recommend balcony reserved seats.
Personally I wouldn't call it a family friendly place. It's a music venue at night with multiple bars. Headlining band probably won't start til 9/930. If you go, I'd take ear plugs for them.
No its not exclusively blues. They do have blues musicians come through at times. Just check the dates out on their website.
I am also short and I can see from the main floor and balcony. Just get there early is the best advice
We wore jeans and t-shirt / shorts and tshirt
Mission Pizza nearby, delicious.
Generally speaking, will call is open one hour before doors open.
It's like a 7pm till around midnight.. For some reason the bar doesn't stay open long after the show

Due to severe weather conditions, both the Durham (The Carolina Theatre of Durham) and Winston-Salem (The Ramkat), NC shows have been cancelled. Every effort will be made to reschedule in the near future. Ticket holders, please contact the venues for more information. Please be safe - we will see you soon. - Lucinda mgmt.
Not sure what you mean by "In quite folky & layed back" but.... of you can sell 200 tickets to your solo event, you might wanna call and see if they are willing to book you. If by "layed" you are indicating an archaic Shakspearian solo act, I doubt the Ramakat is the venue you seek
Because you must not like good music 🤣🤣
March 9th.
This means you have access upstairs and can sit/stand behind the tables near the back wall area. You also have access to the full downstairs floor area. Upstairs has better bar and bathroom access
There is a parking lot next to the building, street parking behind it or across the street they will open up the grass lot sometimes too for parking.
Children can attend any concert at The Ramkat if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Like most live concert venues, it does tend to be loud inside, so we recommend ear protection for children. Your ticket selection depends on whether you'd like a reserved seat or not.
Tickets for every show can be purchased at the box office the day of the concert beginning at 6 pm, unless the show is sold out in advance.
