8 hours in the ER!!!!!! Horrible. I'm still in the ER as Im writing this post. Unprofessional. After shift changed to the night shift. The staff was very Unprofessional and really do not care about the patients. Patient would ask questions about their care or when will they be seen and the staff would laugh at the patients that is clearly in pain.

Right now I'm giving you a 1 because my husband who happens to be a patient at Atrium Stanly has been waiting for a bed in your hospital all day. Until he is airlifted out you will stay a 1.

This was always my hospital of choice and still is except: the food menus never change. It was the same menu every week, and the food was awful. They forgot my meal several times during my two week stay, and then brought me a meal which I didn’t like and I hadn’t ordered. They need to switch out the menus every week. The entire staff was wonderful, except for one nurse and gratefully I only had her one time. The only complaint I have about the nurses and the assistance is that they all wear cologne. The MAJOR complaint with the nurses and assistants is that when you’re sick the last thing you need is someone standing over you while doing shots or IVs or taking your temperature, and smelling of cologne. It just so happens I was nauseous all the time anyway and this made it worse. I STRONGLY encourage Atrium to not allow their nurses to wear perfume or cologne while on duty. I would still highly recommend this hospital, And wouldn’t hesitate to use this hospital again.

Senior Behavioral medicine unit is on the 4th floor
Yes
If I'm not mistaken, my brother paid $99 for it. You can always call up and ask! (:
My father was in the ICU and it was on the 2nd floor
Really didn't have a choice, EMS brought my son there and the experience was great all around, emergency room, in patient care. He was taken to a Mecklenburg hospital a day earlier and sent home. Here they did a thorough work up and discovered a clot, so thankful. As with any organization, it's not the name of the place, it's the leadership within it.
There are plenty of waiting area at surgery center plus television and phone chargers. There are also vending and I think 2 smaller private rooms you can ask to sit in. Hope this helps
In the hallway from surgery center to main hospital they used to post on the walls up near the surgery center.
