Really didn't have a choice, EMS brought my son there and the experience was great all around, emergency room, in patient care. He was taken to a Mecklenburg hospital a day earlier and sent home. Here they did a thorough work up and discovered a clot, so thankful. As with any organization, it's not the name of the place, it's the leadership within it.
I've had nothing but good experiences at Northeast. Not quite as good since it's run by Atrium but still muck better than Atrium CMC main. I haven't been to university in over a decade and that's by choice. I recently had Medic drive right past on way to Northeast. Most people don't know, you can ask ems to go to hospital of your choice, within reason. The hospital must be able to handle your conditions. IE if you need a trauma center they're not taking you to the friendly little hospital around. Oh, I just spent 2 weeks at NE in Concord. IMO it was great, now no hospitals are great but good. Maybe Duke but its too far from Charlotte area. For normal ER issues, Novant Huntersville is pretty good too.
Idk...I've had good experience and bad experience...in the more recent years I believe they have improved..what is ur concern mainly
