This store has usually been a great place to visit but it appears that new management (or no management?) has taken over. Trash now covers the parking lot and the aisles inside are impassable. Help!

I went to return a canister that had broken the first time I tried to open it. I couldn't find my receipt but I just wanted to exchange it. The employee was very put off and said she would have to get the manager. When the manager came out, the first thing she said was that they didn't sell those (very snippy), so I went to the shelf and brought another one up. I was very pleasant and apologetic over not having a receipt. She on the other hand was very put off and condescending. She asked if I just wanted the new one and when I said yes she just shoved it over to me. What every happened to good customer service and service with a smile. These employees act like your bothering them by even coming into the store.

Though I personally avoid dollar generals a big thumbs down for employees that accuse people of stealing when they clearly have absolutely no clue

When ever I go in this store, it’s always a mess! It’s like no one who works there cares. The selections are pretty good, but the store is always disheveled. The folks are always understaffed and are rude.
