Wow! Fantastic service! I had injured my heel in a fall, but thought I could “shake it off” in a few days…after the first night of pain, I went to Fast Med for X-rays. Lo and behold, my heel was broken in 3 places. Dr. Wes was very kind, gentle, and incredibly helpful. He explained the significance of the injury and recommended an orthopedic surgeon. Bandaged me up, sent me home in a boot, and crutches. Thanks to his knowledge, recommendations and contacts, the NEXT DAY, I had heel surgery and am on the way to healing. FastMed is an excellent “first stop”, for any injury or condition that doesn’t require an EMT or ambulance ride. Highly recommended!

They should change their name to Slow Med. I’ve been waiting 3 hours and still waiting. I took my son here a couple of weeks after triple checking with my insurance that they are in network. When I came in today they are saying I’m out of network, which I’m not. The medical system is broken and urgent care (aka Slow Med) is a fine example of how.

It took me four days before Fastmed contacted me to inform me that I had tested positive for COVID. I had a PCR test at Fastmed on Monday, May 30th and they called me on Friday, June 3rd. At that point my doctor had already run a rapid test on Tuesday May 31st which came back positive. At the visit on May 30th, the physician assistant at Fastmed told me he was positive I did not have Covid. I am sure glad I contacted my doctor that Tuesday, May 31st.

The staff were all very nice but the place needs to be better organized. I waited almost an hour even though I had made an appointment, and I was only there for a Covid test but they had me do a full visit. I understand short staffing or whatever other issue can cause logistical problems, but I did not enjoy my experience very much. 4 stars for great staff.
