Great tour for our group of 12 (9 who were 7yo & under). Mr Jim was so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Always something to learn or see when enjoying our natural resources in the Lowcountry. I really enjoyed hearing about the red-cockaded woodpeckers and seeing their habitat. What a beautiful place! Looking forward to going again in the late fall.

Having lived in Georgetown all my life- this was truly an amazing experience. Jim Lee is so knowledgeable and listening to him you could visualize living and being a part of history. I highly recommend all tours offered. Thanks Jim for your humble hospitality! Brenda

Enjoyed a great eco tour on Cat Island, led by Jim Lee with DNR. Beautiful day, scenery, and informative info about the island and nature.

Only saw it from the water. Which made it better because seeing undeveloped land from the bay or any water is awesome.

You will drive onto a barge to get across intercoastal waterway. But tours are guided by bus or walking. I believe you must check schedule for tour availability

Boat landing across from the island. You can put your boat in there and fish around the island. I encourage a tour of the island.
