Must do! The cost was $9, Wally was informative and we had an enjoyable time. It's about 45 minutes, gives you the history on slaves & how they produced rice in South Carolina. Tons of artifacts, would recommend all to do.

So exciting

A great exhibit on the dangerous and technological challenges that enslaved people had to do to process and cultivate rice.

Great overview of the history of rice plantations, slavery and shipping in the Georgetown area.

I would consider that to be an excellent recommendation
You can tour part of the museum for free. The upper floor and second building has a charge of about $6 or $8 . The fee is well worth it!
