It depends. Some satellite internet comes with data plans so if you go over your speeds may be reduced. The best hack to be able to keep streaming is to go into your account on a mobile device or computer and change playback settings from auto or high to medium. This will reduce usage from 3 to 7 gig per hour down to 0.7 gigs per hour with only a small change in picture quality
Satellite interent due to high latency will not work for 2k basketball,call of duty and the new game fortnite . A lot of the other mmo rpg games work just fine with it. And also all turn based games work ok.
