Agree with the others. These people help the schools burying the problems and are not for the students. Trying to FOIA the DOE is a joke because they will tell you that it costs $1000s of dollars for the most simple of searches just to avoid having to hand over emails. The "deadlines" that they have to respond to those filing violations is not often met but they don't care because who's going to sue the department of education!?? God forbid you have a child with special needs. The only thing left to do is leave the state.

Horrible customer service when asked for further more information on diploma update. If you don't want to work don't.

Wanda Davis for parents concerns was very rude and short with her responses. If you can’t be kind and courteous when a parent calls maybe you should find a new line of work! There is an uptick in covid and it seems the Board Of Education does NOT care about the safety of our children. Completely disappointed in South Carolina.

The representative I spoke to was snobby when I asked for the website to get my transcripts. Very unprofessional!!!!

how to apply.
Visit the department's web page at ed.sc.gov and look under Educators. It describes the various ways that a person can become certified with or without a degree Vin Education. Good luck.
Depends on the staff and how big the fight.
Sorry I'm not part of that branch of SCDE
