My wife and I shared a special day on 9/22. The night was very special. From the greeting, through the entire meal. Cannot thank them enough. Shout out to Thad. Nice guy and excellent server. Our fish was perfectly cooked, and presented. Just had the leftovers for lunch. They just jumped to #1 for us, and there are a lot of choices here on HHI.

If you ever send any meal back to the chef, don't expect to get an edible meal. He purposely served me a raw steak multiple times and took a very long time to serving me raw food. I'm sure at this point he took his time on purpose. We have been going to Charlie’s for a few years and we usually have a very nice meal. Last night I ordered a medium rare steak and it came medium to medium well. I let them know it was over done and was told by the hostess that it was cooked correctly… they cooked me a new steak which took some time to prepare but when I cut into it the steak was absolutely raw and just seared on the outside. The waiter was there and witnessed it and said it was raw before I could even say anything. He took it back and they cooked it again took some time for them to "fix" it and again it was completely raw. This time I think he might have microwaved it because the center where I cut previously was cooked but inside was the same. The manager was nice before I received my dinner for a third time and said to order a dessert on him but after receiving an inedible steak again, it was clear I wasn't going to be getting an edible meal any time soon. My husband, my baby and I got up and left because it was clear the chef was trying to make a point. The manager never came back to apologize to the rest of my family about what happened. Definitely will be marking this restaurant off the list.

This place is the sh-- if you like good food and terrific service. French influence seafood if I had to label it. Foodies will love it.

I asked for grilled fish, the first time it came blackened even though waitress specifically said grilled. The second time it still had a spice on it that was over bearing, very peppery and ruined the fish. The rice was not good at all and the portion of vegetables was miniscule. Save your money. They didn’t offer me anything to make up for messing up my order twice.
