They literally NEVER answer the phone, I’ve even walked in & called their phone to watch them NOT answer! It’s so inconvenient and annoying.

No one ever answers. You literally have to go in there. And then that’s pointless because you don’t get the answers you need. So frustrating!

Does anyone ever answer the phones? The front desk or the case workers. Is there an email or a better way to contact someone and speak to someone in this office? I do not have time to go in everytime I need to talk to someone.

Can a person that has custody of you kid give him or her to some one else without letti the parents know

Kannon Kash | Sep 23, 2020
Sandra Himes | Sep 23, 2020

Yea they can but it really depends on how the court papers was written in the beginning. If the child was willingly signed over or custody was taken away. If it was done willingly than the paper that the attorney gives all parties to sign to finalize everything it needs to state that they don't want that to happen an then they would be unable to do so, if not than there is nothing whoever doesn't have custody can do. Once someone signs over custody like that it terminates all Rights to the minor child in question. You can only hire a attorney and hope for the best.

Where can a 23 year old go to get medical assistance? He just relocated to South Carolina to be near his father and is currently unemployed.

He could go to the local DSS OFFICE and ask to apply for Medicaid. Being that he is over 19 he may only receive Family Planning. He could also go to healthcare.gov and ship for insurance and it's usually pretty cheap especially if he is not working. I would recommend calling customer service at healthcare.gov so that they could assist in finding you the best plan. As far as the Medicaid is concerned, I'm not an eligibility worker and cannot determine eligibility and you are more than welcome to come and apply.
