The river south of the bridge has a parking area, on the east side. You can fish or just enjoy the rapids there.

Looks so pretty. And driving in it is just as awesome. There is a parking area right near by unfortunately the weather was not in our favor but the quick small little drive by was cute and well worth it. Can’t wait to go back when it’s nicer out to enjoy the whole view.

Nice drive along rt.7 with loads of scenery along the way to west Cornwall. Once in west Cornwall at the bridge you'll have tons of photo opps.

Constructed in 1864, the West Cornwall covered bridge is 172 feet (52 m) long, 15 feet (4.6 m) wide and supports one lane of vehicle traffic for the Sharon-Goshen Turnpike (Connecticut Route 128). Total length: 172 feet (52.4 m) Width: 15 feet (4.6 m) Opened: Circa 1864 Area: 1 acre (0.4 ha)
