All I can say about the town hall elected officials are they dont work period. Not remotely or otherwise. I really hope they dont get paid weekly or salary. Had to involve a lawyer to get a response back from the assessor. Shameful and lied about returning all emails and vm. 8 weeks to get a simple answer that was critical to a real estate transaction. Taxes ridiculous!

Town hall has become a lot easier to work with. Town has a police chief again and state police are just down the hill( 5 min away). Nothing is perfect but an overall nice place.

Got into a wreck. No police came they all resigned... said nobody cared about them. So who do I call if I can’t call them

Hi Laura, I also messaged you on facebook - as assistant town clerk (and former town clerk) I hope I can clear up your question. There is more information on the Secretary of State's website, where this is from: The Annual Street List Under state law, every city and town is required to communicate with each household and compile an annual street list – also known as a city or town census. Most cities and towns choose to communicate with residents by mail. If a voter fails to respond to the annual street list, they will be placed on the inactive voters list and their local election official will send out a confirmation notice, which the voter is asked to sign and return. The confirmation notice is meant to confirm that the voter continues to reside at the address at which he or she is registered, or if the voter has moved, update the address on file. Voters who fail to return confirmation notices will remain on the inactive voters list. See my fb message...it allows for more
