Nice little place to pull off, read some history and see the viaduct. Worth it for a picture or two.

There are several spots to get photos of the bridge, and they all have their advantages. The pull-off area on Route 92 offered the safest vantage point, and had additional information on the bridges history. Going up during the fall colors was a bonus.

I've visited the Paulinskill Viaduct and the Delaware River Viaduct and this one dwarfs both of them. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

I was looking for a former sunken quarry near here does any one have a idea where it was. The reason for why I ask is that it is also a sunken grave of a locomotive.

Was this quarry used in the creation of the bridge? I've read on those, but nothing on a sunken locomotive

There is a dirt path that follows the bridge right down to the water.

Is there a list of men who worked on the bridge.

Hi, there is not a list of those who constructed the Bridge in the marker or the informational kiosks under the Bridge (Route 92) or at the pull-off by Route 11. More details of the Bridge can be found at http://www.nicholsonheritage.org/tunkhannock-creek-viaduct/. A list of workers, though, is not available. I'll confirm with Nicholson Heritage Association chair. Josh Stull
