If I could give 0 I would have. Waited 5 HOURS in a parked car for them to even start evaluating my dog. Looking back now I would have rather not even gone in the first place. I was brushed off after waiting so long with them telling me that my dog was fine and giving him pain medicine for his joints. There was still crying all night. Next day (today) I came to another vet and this place 100% misdiagnosed my dog. Don’t come here they only want you’re money they don’t care.

After 1 whole year bouncing between vets and getting my dog misdiagnosed about his chronic ear infection I have finally found the right place! Chewie got ear surgery with Dr Holdsworth and she was absolutely amazing! She is highly knowledgeable and nice and kept me in an ease during the whole process, she saved my best friend and thanks to her today Chewie is a very happy and healthy pup again. I must say also that all the ladies at the front desk are super sweet and helped me a lot with all my questions every time I called (and I called them every single day!) and the vet technicians are extremely nice and sweet too! When I hear about compassionate vet care this is exactly what I imagine and they went above and beyond my expectations. Thanks so much Long Island Veterinary Specialists! From now on this will be the place I’ll take my little bud when I need a vet.

Dog had bloody diarrhea and was throwing up. Drove there, and arrived at 645 am. Was told there would be a wait. At 8, I left after calling another facility that would see him right away. They finally called me back an hour and a half after arrival. My advice. Don't go there if it's a true emergency.

No Name

This place still does not allow you to go inside with your pet when it is sick. Enough already with the covid protocols. You have to sit in your car with your dog and wait to be called. This morning there was an hour and a 1/2 wait to get into an emergency clinic. Ridiculous.
