I had heard great things about this place but was really disappointed. I got a call the day before my appointment that they needed my insurance info, even though they already had it. Then I was told I wasn't due for an exam yet, under my parents insurance...yet I'm almost 30 and have my own. The woman on the phone was nasty and really needs an attitude adjustment. My appointment and glasses overall was fine, but my boyfriend had a horrible time. He couldn't see correctly out of his regular glasses and sunglasses. He went back and the woman opening the door in the morning didn't hold the door open, just unlocked it and walked away, which was rude right off the bat. He was told, "We have a new system so you'll be waiting a while" with a HORRIBLE attitude. He discussed the issues he was having and left, and picked up his new glasses shortly after. Unfortunately, he's still having problems. He still can't see correctly out of either pair, but he refuses to go back because of the attitude problem by the staff. He had to go back several times to redo the appointment and get both glasses at different times and they aren't even right, but his last eye doctor had it perfect. Now he's stuck with two pairs of glasses he can't even wear without an issue, and the staff has made it uncomfortable for him to go back. This place needs a lesson on respect. Constant attitudes are driving customers away to better places where they'll be treated right. I see from recent reviews we aren't the only ones who have dealt with this problem.

After many years of going to a different Visionworks location, a couple years ago I switched to the Plainview location. The staff consistently provide a high level of attentiveness and assistance. Lisa, the manager, is phenomenal. She spends as much time and effort as needed to resolve situations. I would highly recommend this Visionworks location.

Dr. Steven Ressel @ Plainview Visionworks is absolutely AMAZING! With his quiet, calm demeanor he is my absolute, unassuming SUPER HERO! His extensive knowledge led him to an interpretation of my condition BEYOND my poor vision. Very INSIGHTFUL doc!!!
