Some of the social events are less than expected that is sponsored by the staff of Lakes of Melbourne During the holidays season other 55 plus communities do a great job of decorating for each holiday, not Lakes of Melbourne. Spend very little effort and money for their decorations. But lakes of Melbourne have no problem telling the homeowner what to do or raising the lot rent. Over all the park looking good and well maintained by each homeowner. But very little support from the staff from Lakes of Melbourne. Don’t ask for anything from them because they won’t give it.

Gated senior community. Pool, sports played outside, small gym. Dances and cookouts occasionally.

Not very pleasant people to talk with. Could even say they are a bit snobbish. I thought the "rule" in a 55 and older park was if 80 percent was occupied by 55 and older someone younger (30ish) could move in with someone who is 55/older. I was looking to buy but their attitude of me asking just was shocking. I wish all those trying to sell in the park the best of luck.

I am not really sure
Lot Rent
Last I heard it was around $500.00 plus, it might differ depending on the lot. I was told you don't pay real estate tax, only a yearly tag.
Not sure what the HOA is but lot rent is $600 & it goes up abt $13.00 a year
No fee required.
Yes it is, a lot cheaper than rent. I'd suggest calling the office and they can help you. In our case we just paid for the house so that's why I say a lot cheaper than renting. But I understand not everyone can do that. We are very happy to have our own house. I always hated renting is not for me.
This Park doesn't rent out you pay lot rent in the amt of approx. $650. plus water..electric...lot rent covers basic cable You also pay for your lawn Service which runs abt $40.
From what I know you have to own ur own single or double wide mobile home & you pay your own lot rent which is over $600 per month They don't allow people to rent Hope I answered ur question
No nobody does My Mom lives there she owns her doublewide that she has to pay taxes on yrly The last time l asked her how much her lot rent was its just under $600 & tends to go up by like $15 yrly Hope I answered ur question
Lot rent but well worth it more then just lot rent for your buck
Yes, it's included with lot rent unless you opt out for satellite TV
VERY PRICEY!!! Not worth the money!!!
Nothing saying you cant
We wanted to purchase another home, they said we were going to rent it out. Which we would never want the resposability of renting to someone. We wanted it strictly for our out of town Guest to stay in. I can see why they don't want renters because of renters in and out all the time. Not all, but some.
With cable just over $715 per month
