Catamount was ok for the day. Went here because it was a convenient Middle point to meet a friend from Massachusetts. Good for someone that is improving on their skills. But not a lot of runs. Prices are similar to bigger resorts...but without the big resort... Definitely don't go to the Taco truck. Empanadas were about the size of small dumplings. 2 for $16?!! Never again!

Overall a decent mountain. Will be better next year when all their lift replacements open. Good variety of trails. Very busy on weekends. Nice new lodge. Owners are putting some money into this place. Staff were nice and friendly. Not crazy about the line organization, kind of a free for all narrowing down to the RFID gate. Snow conditions were decent but does get skied off by afternoon with the weekend crowds.

All the staff we met were so helpful and kind from the lift operators to the food services. We went on President's Day weekend, so it was crazy crowded. We were surprised to wait 2 hours for equipment rental alone, and every lift had a long line. The easiest slope was closed, so my kids had to stick with the bunny hill. Nevertheless, it was a fun weekend, and a good first ski trip for my kids.

Went ziplining for the first time ever and it was an amazing experience. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I plan on going again and also will stay there at some point next year. They're doing a lot of work around the resort so I'm looking forward to seeing the changes.

Yes Susan, Catamount offers you the option to load your season pass with $$ and YES you can use it at the concessions. As far as you "thinking" Jack K you should check your resources before blindly answering. The bar also has a restaurant that has awesome food and drink. Catamount.has 1000' Vertical with a great variety of trails for all including super steep double blacks and 3 magic carpets! Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful! Come and see for.yourself!
When the Snowtubing Park opens, tubing tickets will be different from lift tickets. We are not sure yet when tubing will be ready this season.

There are currently no plans for cross country skiing, but they are in the middle of expanding the number of trails and is also under construction for renovation. This may not be the prime year for Catamount, but I can say that by next year it will become much more modern and larger than most other neighboring mountains.

Hello Keith, Ages 10 plus can use the Catamount Zip Tour. If parents are not participating we do require a parent to accompany their child to the summit on the chairlift. There is a $15 fee for that round-trip. Thanks for your question. Rich Edwards
