We recently stayed at this KOA with some friends for a weekend. We were in a spot in the "Orchard" section. On the second day we started getting an electrical zap every time we used the handle to enter our camper. The same thing started happening to our friends. We contacted the office and had them come look at the electrical box. We were told they knew about the problem from issues through out the season. But they didn't know what the problem was. The employee told us it wasn't enough volts to hurt anyone. And that was it. It's disappointing they would gladly take my money for a weekend, knowing there was a problem with our site. We had 4 children with us who also got hit with electrical current trying to get in to the campers. There was complete and total indifferece on the part of the KOA.

First time staying here. Only 20 mins from home. Tent site was a lot smaller than I expected. We had two tents & two vehicles. It all ended up working out. Yellow jackets were bad at our site. Didn't see any at the bathroom or the walk to & from. Tent sites were very close together. Thankfully we were mostly alone in our area. If it had been at full capacity in our area, I doubt i would've enjoyed it as much. Bathrooms were clean, nice hot showers. There was a pool, playground & mini golf β³ Never got a chance to do either, as we went to the Cummington fair over the time we stayed here. The second night there was one tent site next street over that was loud till almost 1am. Wasn't a fan of that. Trash can, fire pit, grill & picnic table all available on site. As well as running water & a light. Besides getting rained out & deciding to go home early we had fun & would book here againποΈπ₯Ύ

Cabins could use a better cleaning, and repairs as needed... AC filter was filthy and (Broken window blinds).... I recommend weekly through inspection and cleaning! π³ P.S. most important: Get rid of the mattresses! π·

No. I just called and they are closed for the season.
Yes, you can.
I had the most amazing time what made me even better was Jason and his wife helping our daughter get coins had a wonderful ride on the fire truck beautiful swim in the pool couldn't have asked for a better night camping big shout out to Jason and his wife who run all the events great job guys!
I would like to be able to answer your question about setting up a tent over looking a lake but I just deliver fire wood to camp ground. I can tell you over the last two weeks the camp grounds have been opening up!
They will usually only put you in a spot where it can fit your vehicle or two vehicles and your camper or tent. But I am sure they would accommodate you with parking off of your sight but it may not be close. Up in back there is a big field, with permission you can probably park there and down by the playground there are few spots.
when does the Northhampton /Springfield KOA open for business? This is March 8, 2022
