I called Northampton’s Urgent Care to say I think I may have broken a bone and was told with the most cold, most unsympathetic, most unkind tone that they are at capacity. I am not upset with them because they are at capacity, but mostly with the "bedside manner" from the person who answered the phone. I hope the people who work at this Urgent Care center can remember that the patients they are speaking with are scared, worried, and hoping to receive some kindness from their healthcare providers. I know the healthcare system is overwhelmed and stressed, but if we can all remember we are people and that anyone calling is simply looking for help on a really bad day, that would make a terrible situation not feel even worse. To the person who spoke with me, I think you're in the wrong field. Please be nicer. Also, I have already written to Baystate’s feedback email address about this.

Nurse Ginger and Dr. Patel treated me with such kindness, empathy, and patience—despite my condition itself being extraordinarily painful, these two people turned out to be some of the gentlest medical professionals by whom I’ve ever been treated. I was very lucky to have them this morning!

Worst urgent care in the valley, 2.5 hour wait to get seen, there's nothing urgent about anything here thank God I'm not dying cause I'd be dead in the waiting area, probably a shorter wait at an actual emergency room SMH

Had several questions since I’ve been unable to book any new patient appointments until 6 months away! Receptionist was nice and helpful but the physicians assistant and a Dr. Cooper were very curt about informing me that they could only discuss one issue with me and did not want to hear about any other of my concerns. I was shocked! Have never been treated like that by a doctor in my life! Will never return to that facility ever.
