Service over substance-- Went here because of google reviews (and because of their terrific website). When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. The restaurant was far from full, but I suppose a lot of empty real-estate was awaiting parties. We had the short rib appetizer, 2 pizzas, 2 cocktails, 2 entrees (rigatoni bolognese and the chicken milanese) and digestifs. The portions were on the smaller size, the toppings on the pizzas minimalist, but the cocktails were quite good. I wish they cooked their pizzas a tad longer. I like the way they looked on the website; with crisped edges and bubbles of baked dough. The slices drooped and had a doughy texture. The milanese arrived with a lovely salad topping, but the cutlet (although thoroughly cooked) was cool and just slightly above room temperature. I suspect there is a pile of cooked cutlets in the kitchen awaiting to be served and that this one was not cooked to order. Our wait staff (aside from the initial reception asking my party if we had reservations in a stand-off manner) was superb. Our waitress was friendly, helpful in selecting entrees, and responsive. Our table was tiny, but it was a table. I have to say that the restaurant was never full. When we left it was less than fifty percent capacity for certain. For a meal that amounted to about $70 per person (with cocktails), it was not extraordinary. I'm glad I went. Food was good. Service was excellent. But truthfully, it really did not live up up to my expectations.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. It took an hour to make Mac N’ Cheese and roasted potatoes. The food was undercooked and was bland. Overall, not worth the wait time or price.
