I've been here many times over the years. Went today nd it was very empty as usual. Service was great as usual. I got for the first time the homemade meat loaf. So much garlic I could pick the pieces out of the loaf. Not eatable. Got a large chili soup to go. Not charged for the meatloaf or soup. Thank God cause the chili soup was not fresh at all. Canned tomatoes for sure and not much flavor except the beans. I expected much better.

I use to go the New Freedom Restaurant quite often because it was near my route of travel. My travel route changed so I haven't been back in awhile. Recently I stopped in for breakfast and it was like old times. Very quick and professional service. Great tasting breakfast at a very reasonable price. Always friendly and a pleasure to stop. If you are in the area give New Freedom Restaurant a try.

We stopped here last Saturday on our way to York PA. My wife had told me she had been before, and they had a famous broasted chicken. I then remembered those leftovers she brought home and immediately pulled into the parking lot! We started out with the cheese curds…AMAZING. Then we split a few classics, cheeseburger sub, and the fish & chips. I was blown away, and we both left extremely satisfied. Food was fantastic, as was the service. We will definitely be coming back.

Place is actually bigger then it looks from the outside. Staff is extremely friendly. Food is priced well. Breakfast is worth what you pay, although the home fries were bland and tasted as if it were over cooked in boiling water before being tossed on a grill for color. Dessert case looks really good.

Yes, the food is good and so is the staff.
Are their bathrooms on the steam train in new freedom pa?
I agree with Kevin. HVAC contractors don't always size the equipment to operate correctly on peak days. Since many construction projects are let to the lowest bidder, the HVAC systems typically don't cool correctly on very hot days. It takes more capacity and more energy to expel heat from a building on a very hot day. Best if you go back when the outdoor air temperature is in the 80's and evaluate again. I recently ate breakfast at this restaurant and the room temperature was comfortable.
I believe they Bar B Q Ribs.
Depends on what you are doing. I've seen teens bussing tables. They're always looking for help.
You have to wear a mask to enter, but can take it off when seated.
