So first off let me say the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the amount of food you get. not through any fault of the company the people that work there the volunteers they're all fantastic although I've recently learned and I'm going to say why in this review that I only gave four stars I recently learned that the food from this food pantry is not to be considered staple food but supplemental. so if you go here thinking well there's a biggest in Columbus then they must give the most food, they give good quality food do not mistake what I am saying they give very good quality food fresh fruits fresh vegetables usually in season they give quite a bit of really good quality desserts eggs bread milk and stuff they give at least two pounds of sausage every time I go so that's a really good yeah you can stretch a lot of meals out of that. however the main goal of this particular food pantry at least from my understanding is to supplement, supplement, supplement, supplement what you get through food stamps or other means. I myself do not get food stamps I don't have the ability to get them for a numerous reasons mostly due to my type of disability and the amount of money I get however things are still tight, so that's what it is the volunteers here are top notch. I have to say I know a couple people who volunteer here I'm glad this place does a lot of good work and I'm glad it helps families however I wish they would give out more pasta and more canned goods. but I understand why their particular goals are different. than a lot of other food pantries. so good on ya keep going, and keep doing good okay. By the way I've been here at least four times I'm going to include a basic list of what you're almost guaranteed to get every time to help people decide if this place would be a good fit for them 1 dozen eggs 1 gal milk 2 types of bread including 1 loaf 2 meats usually sausage 3 kinds of fruits 2 kinds of veggies 2 sweets 4-6 Small items like single drinks or sm cookies usually these items are stuff that is outside of most people's economic limit ie expensive luxury goods like you may get like some Naked smoothies I think they're like five bucks a piece you might get Cheryl's Cookies you know I think this is just the ritzy stuff and I have to say every time I get it it feels like a nice little surprise and I'm really happy to get it

I lost my job oct 11 2017 .Still out of work.. I need help ......... I have a son who is 16 and a wife.. Its not EASY OUT HERE... HOW DO I GET HELP WITH FOOD
It goes by your income and it's according to how many people are in your family
I am disabled and when my husband went he simply took my id with him. I didn't have to go with him.
Only for the adults and if you've been there before you'll still need to bring your own ID
Go to Mid Ohio Food Bank. On Marlene Drive in Grove City, when they are open. Take proof of address & I.D.'s for every member of the household. They give loads of food. It amazed me...they are all kind & courteous. Always have a smile for you too. I love going there. Only once a month tho.
IDK bro
You always get milk and eggs, fresh produce, and meat of some kind. There is no way to tell what you will get on any given day, but they give you a lot of groceries!
Go online . Register. Then go down there. Its drive thru. They don't ask much.
Yes
They usually serve them after you've done a full shop. They will ask you if you used your full shop or just need some bread & produce. Call to make sure.

If it’s your first visit to the pantry, take your picture ID and one proof of residency to the front desk. Proof of residency should include your name and current address, dated within the last 90 days. This could be a utility bill, lease agreement, medical bill, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services announcement. If you’ve been to the pantry before, you just need your picture ID.
You can donate anything you grow, as long as its in edible condition.
No appointment is not needed you can check the hours online and just need an i.d. and sometimes a piece of mail with your address.
Weekly as noted above but you can also go to other pantries as well.
Nothing. If your speaking of Mid Ohio food bank. As far as the pharmacy. You choose what pharmacist you like, And he will call it in
From Monday to Friday from 12 noon
You need ID's and a piece of mail showing the address for every adult in the home and you'll need a birth certificate, an insurance card, or paperwork with children's birth date. Due to covid you're no longer able to go inside and shop/pick your food, now you stay in your vehicle and they load the food. Once in a while there's no wait, most of the time you have to wait maybe 15-20 minutes, and the maximum wait is 90 minutes, but that's days where they've been closed for a couple days prior due to the holiday. Please stay safe in the heat, be sure to bring plenty of water for yourself and anybody in the vehicle.
They must have told him when he went, that someone already got his stuff.
That's a great question. Maybe you should be one of the first people there that away whoever is using your information can't beat you to the punch 👊 but in this place, beat you to the food. Food 🥝🥑
Good food
If you signed up and received food the first time the only thing you need to do now is choose the day to go show your ID and you should already be in the system to receive food. If not they can sign you up right then and there as long as you have your ID.
anyone can go there
I believe from 8am to 4pm mon-fri. But Mondays is from 5pm-8:30pm. Everyone is so nice. The National Guard are on top of things. And we thank them for their services each time👫💓💕💖💞💘

Yes as long as your in franklin county it doesn't matter.
Look it up on the website
https://www.midohiofoodbank.org/get-help/get-food/ According to the website, there are no zip code restrictions.
I used my driver's license and needed nothing else.
Yes, I have to say that sometimes the produce that is available at the Mid-Ohio food bank seems to be more than over ripe. Have to remind people that you are NOT SHOPPING in a REGULAR grocery store. I am grateful for this. I could be in another place like Puerto Rico (a U.S. territory) or another part of the world there is so very little of food.
5:30 to 7:30pm
Don't donate money. They buy gobs of terribly unhealthy stuff: canned Heart Attack Stew, which is loaded with fat and salt, but very little meat; canned pasta with no protein, but tons of sugar and salt; etc. It is always best to give the products themselves, so you can choose healthy ones.
The entrance just past where they pass out numbers. Sometimes they may be closed.
Not allowed to pick
They charge so they can buy more food to supplement what is donated as well as operating cost. Every organization that is runs a pantry pays this cost.
