This place seems to not be manage correctly. Quantity instead of quality seems to be their goal. Not helpful at all. Never going again. Find a different location if you can.

Yesterday I went in for all my testing as requested by my primary doctor. The experience during my initial testing was amazing and the team was great. I was given a kit to take home with two Ziploc bags. One bag was labeled freezer and the other refrigerator. I was told by the nurse to make sure to put enough to avoid having to redo the test. I was also told I can just simply drop off in the morning quickly. This morning however this was not the case. The office was packed and when I asked at the window I was told by a A lady to sign in and wait for my name to be called. Once my name was called I went to the window to the same lady who is not very pleasant. The lady‘s name starts with a Y and I could not pronounce. The lady was having issues and asking me questions about how many samples. As I shared with her the three samples that I was given the day prior she was informing me that there was some error. I explain to the lady that this is what I was given in the instructions given and I needed to go to work so I needed to go. The lady proceeded to tell me that I should have not placed one of the samples in the fridge raider and I explain to her that it’s written in the Ziploc bag with the black sharpie refrigerator. She also explained to me that she cannot send one of the samples because it was too much inside and I was told that I needed to come back and redo it again. I refuse to come back to this location and deal with people that are incompetent. The lady was rude and unprofessional. I will be going somewhere else as clearly quest diagnostics Does not run clean facility. The lady put on gloves to remove the specimen sample and kept the gloves on as she was giving me my paperwork and grabbing pens from the jar. It is both disgusting and unsanitary and I refuse to go back to such a facility.

The overall process was good. The registering staff? Wonderful. However, the Phlebotomist that drew my blood? Awful. I explained to her how to get my particular vein (as I've had many surgeries & difficult veins). She ignored me, and simply hit the the vein. I have never felt so much pain, after a blood draw. My arm started hurting while in the waiting room. I ignored it, thinking it was no big deal. By the time I got home? Different story. It's day two and my arm from the needle site, along my upper arm, and up my neck on my right side is in pain. I've been in pain all night, and this morning is no better. It's obvious, she hit a nerve. I'm not saying I wouldn't return to Quest, but that tech could NEVER touch me again.

Quest Diagnostics is VERY unprofessional and I DO NOT trust their services! I had to visit this location for a job drug test and they do not know what HIPPA means and their is no privacy in the testing area. In addition, I had an appointment and they were 60 minutes behind schedule. By law, you as the patient is required to remain with the phlebotomist at all times and make sure you can see your specimen at all time. The rep I had kept leaving the room with my urine in her hand (how do I know she didn't tamper with it). Be very careful!
