Deceptive medical and business practices

After ignoring 5 referral faxes, a cancer patient walks into the office and is blown off because they don't have appointments until November. Worst service ever. And I usually never give bad reviews.

Called to make a new patient appointment and was told they require a referral to be seen in their office. I informed them that my insurance does not require me to have a referral. They said it was their office policy. What an inconvenience!

Dr. Marx and his medical staff are hands-on and generally very caring and respectful. I have been a patient for the last two years and could not be happier with the level of care I have received. They work with most insurance and are available for any questions I may have.

I had the same problem, don’t know what’s going on!
Sorry you have not heard back. Kaite below is correct, thanks Katie. Masks are required. We ask that you do a COVID test if you have concerns for asthma/trouble breathing. A negative rapid COVID test the day of your appt or a negative PCR in the last 48-72 hours is needed before doing pulmonary testing. Not required otherwise.
Yes. We are open on Monday from 8-6.
We would do an initial consult to review your history and determine what testing is indicated. Every type of allergy test is a little different. In general, medication allergy testing takes a few hours once a test protocol is set up and medications are ordered.
Some antihypertensive medications do seem to increase the risk and/or severity of reaction to insect stings. Beta blockers are the most studied but ACE-inhibitors may also.
