I really like this place - awesome front desk staff, caring nurses and technicians, great sense of humor, and thorough. I actually would have given 4 stars because the last 3 of my doctors have moved away/left this practice, but I don't know the reasons. It's to the point that I can't remember my pcp's name and again I'm building a relationship with her. That has nothing to do with the establishment, though, and the care I've received has been outstanding!

Reception is friendly and usually helpful. The doctor doesn’t seem very knowledgeable in the field because he can’t seem to answer my questions. The nurse practitioner is better but often rushy. She seems caring. One of the nurses asked me to leave the exam room while I was still waiting for my son to return from the lab. I’ve also experienced disorganization and confusion from the staff. I get it, things get hectic but patients should get the care they deserve every time.

Honestly, if all you need is a doctor to check the box on appointments this place is fine. I would not trust this practice to manage my health for any real issues. Been seeing Dr Islam for better part of a year now and each in person appointment is very rushed, she asks the required questions as quickly as possible, and exits the second she can. You’ll barely have time to ask questions or get real assessment of your health. I’m not sure if she’s always behind schedule or just doesn’t want to deal with patients, but I’ve never gotten the sense Dr Islam cares much about my health. On top of that I’m always having issues getting my prescription signed off and refilled by this Dr. Consistently each month I’m having to be the one to call the Dr and run communications between the Dr and pharmacy so they can fill my prescription. It really shouldn’t be this hard, but I get constant excuses from Dr Islam that the pharmacy didn’t receive the prescription or it didn’t go through because of XYZ. The excuse is always different but the result is the same. I would caution that if you have any real chronic issues to seek another provider. I am fortunate to be rather young and healthy, but for those who are not please find a provider that will give you the time and care you deserve.
