The lighthouse shelter provided shelter, food and clothes for myself and my daughter when we fell on hard times and I am so grateful to them for all the help they gave and continue to give to those in need

The Lighthouse is a great place and they're more than a shelter, all I have to say is a closed mouth doesn't get fed! If you need help ask for it!

Hi Mac, thank you for asking and for thinking of us! Our ability to take donations of specific perishable items varies at different times, and is based on client needs, current inventory, and storage limitations. Please call ahead to confirm if we are able to take whatever perishable items you have. We are so grateful to everyone who donates food to The Light House. Last year alone we distributed over 99,000 pounds of food to community members in need, and served over 38,000 hot meals. Thank you for your support!

Hi Zesha. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Volunteers ages 11-17 must be accompanied by an adult, so we would love for you to volunteer with us if you have an adult to accompany you or your group. There are many volunteer opportunities at The Light House, but if you are looking for something to do from home or school, making bagged lunches or holding a food/donation drive do not require attending an orientation or filling out a volunteer application, and also provide community service hours for students. For instructions on making bagged lunches and/or food drives, and for a full list of volunteer opportunities please visit the volunteer section of our website. Thanks! - Light House Staff
You should call and ask to speak with a case manager
