Autism speaks is a terrible “non-profit” that sees autism as a disease that needs to be cured, rather than a disorder that can be managed and lived with. Parents of autistic kids love autism speaks because they validate the parent’s struggle, but they do nothing to actually help the kid. The reason I, and so many other Autistic people leave one star reviews for them is so people know that this company is a hate group disguised as a charity.

Autism Speaks uses fearmongering to make autism look like a horrible disease in reality though it does not limit a human to become a great person and a functioning member of society
