It disturbs me that I tried to give a Virginia location information and they were extremely rude and uninterested in even listening to me much less saving dogs .

I adopted my sweet dog from here. He was well cared for. The people who work here loved him and one of them even came out to give him a hug goodbye

Hi! We feed anything grain free! Thank you!
Hi Becky, we appreciate that you want to get your animal spayed/neutered! Our clinic is not currently open to the public, so we suggest Virginia Kincheloe Clinic. If you have any questions, please reach out ot our staff at 540-898-1500!
Everytime I've been there, which is usually once a month, tjey always habe a huge selection of dogs. I see mostly large dogs and tjen the smaller ones. Lots of fur babies looking for a forever home.

The SPCA is a no kill shelter. Please contact the animal shelter in your area for information on how best to handle your situation.
As of today (6/13/22), we have walk-in ADOPTION appointments on certain days, listed at fredspca.org/adopt. All other programs remain appointment only at this time.
You do need an appointment and most available times are a week out! Their website has all of their animals available for adoption
Hi Sam, please visit our clinic page to make an appointment at our Locke Community Medical Center fredspca.org/clinic
Good evening Beth, now have you tried emailing them? I've learned that's the best route to go to get a reply out of them. From what I saw when I volunteered is that they're busy, but they work hard. They care about the animals under their charge. Try giving them an email, it can take up to 72 hours to hear back from, but remember that compassion is the key for places like the Fredericksburg SPCA to be successful.
Hi Richard, you would need to fill out the intake request form on our website at Fredspca.org/rehome.
Go to fredspca.org, and fill out the screening questionnaire. An adoption matchmaker will be in touch with you. It might take a few days. The matchmakers are volunteers, and they are (happily) pretty busy quarantine-while.
They'd love to have them! There are racks out front for contactless donation drop-offs.
Call animal control they will come get him and take him for treatment.
Go to any county shelter, they have many. SPCA is very good with adoptions and no hassle!
Kaylee, Yes, they have dogs, they also have cats. Best advice is to visit the SCPA and see what is there as animals come and go on a regular basis, you can also discuss adoption application procedures and such.
Call the shelter when it opens today and ask directly :) the can we received when fostering was opened.
Yes they do

Hello! Give us a call any day between the hours of 12-6 so we can find out what you're looking for! 540-898-1500
You should call them directly to see if they have room.
You can volunteer in middle and high school from 3-5 on Saturdays.
I woupd call them and ask, but I believe 16.
As long as their doors are open.
Deirdre, please call the SCPA directly as this section of Google Maps isn't monitored by them, it's more for feedback and general information about the listing, not customer service.
Call them directly and inquire; this section of Google Maps is for map feedback and general info, the SPCA doesnt check here.
Idk the Fredericksburg one is always asking for donations cuz they need the help themselves Caroline county dss has helped people who have pets with dog food. Idk bout other counties
P
It helps to know what kind of animal you are asking about. Cats for instance are fine kept together so long as they get along.
