Way too slow. 3 windows, 1 person working slow as you'd expect. Do better lottery. Mail it in.
La Lori
The African American woman there says the Winner Amount out loud. She should ask write it down or say it. I don't think she understands how dangerous that is. Others behind the customer could be listening. This is very dangerous. I won't go back there

Are the Florida lotto offices going to open soon to clam prizes
No I don't think so because they close at 4pm. It probably depends on if anyone is waiting already.
you get a check from and the bank which is Wells Fargo is right down the street where you can cash it with two pieces of ID.
Yes and bank is wells fargo located on 434 and 436 right up the street from the lottery office.
You can claim your money at the lottery office in Altamonte springs.
About 15 to 30 minutes depending on the crowd that day
Yes they do
380 FL-434 #1028. You're literally on a mapping app and asking this instead of just looking for yourself. Wow.
You can "claim" it. You'll get a check, not cash.
File with your taxes. That is a question for the IRS
Not at all. Must be in the name of the winner.
They open at 8.
No they will be closed
No more Tallahassee. You can claim at the Florida lottery claim center. Just was advise of info less than 3 weeks ago.
No appointment needed. Monday to Friday 830-400
Yes 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday
You also can download it from the Lottery website. FLALOTTERY. COM
No!! You need to fill out form, copy of i.d., & the ticket. Then, they mail a check.
Yes, the inside office, is closed, due to Covid, but there's a security guard, right outside. He gives you a short app, make sure to sign, copy of i.d. & ticket in envelope. Less than hen 10 days, I got mine. It was a little drive, for us as well, but hey, we won a $1000, so who cares. It was a really simple process. Congrats!!
You can visit any retailer who sells scratch off and lottery , they can cash upto $600.00,
U need to get to the lottery office on 434
Yes, they are open, but not the inside. There's a security guard, at door, answering questions & giving you paperwork.
Monday through Friday from 8:30 I think until 4:30 there's someone outside with the security box that you can drop your information in the box if you filled out the paperwork and if you don't have it they have it there
You can't cash it in, but you go to this office, with your winning ticket, a copy of your driver's license, fill out a small form, give it to security guard & that's it. They mail you a check, within, 7-10 days.
Checks being sent out within 7-10 business days
Open. Dropbox payments only
No it's not, but there is a drop box and a security guard guarding it. You will receive a check within 10 business days
Open daily from 8am. You fill the form, add a copy of your ID and the checked is mailed to you. You will receive an email once processed and the check arrives shortly thereafter. Took exactly 6 days including the weekend to receive mine.
Yes
Nothing you pay taxes yourself with 1099
Yes they will take and give you what,s left
Not sure, but you probably need to go to Tallahasee
Depends on how you file your taxes. Question for your accountant.
Didn't know there was one
You can go right there to the Florida lottery office in Altamonte springs Florida that is an official lottery office and you can take your ticket in there.
Yes, but you can also cash in anything that size at publix or other places like that. Only have to go here if you win $600 or more
Every ticket has to be cashed in the state it was sold.
To go to Tallahassee for win. I think it's for really big wins. Like millions
I'm not a 100% sure about student loans, but if you owe the government they will offset winnings from tax debt or child support. I'm not advising fraud but call the lottery office before you'll go so you can avoid any unwanted surprises.
When you win. They do a background check. And see if you owe any money to any body or any thing. Childsaport, court fees, it's, ect...
Linda, you're asking your question on Google maps. You should go into the lottery office if you're having trouble understanding the rules of the game you are playing.
Federal holiday?
No. We will reopen Tuesday
830 - 400

YesRecommend going early. They are slow.
They are not. All Florida Lottery offices are closed on state of Florida observed holidays. Labor Day is one of those.
Of course
You file just as if it was regular income so you are taxed accordingly on any winnings over $600. Read the back of any ticket.
If you try to vash it at Publix they will get your info and mail it off for you but if you go to the lottery office you can receive a check for your winnings in a matter of minutes.
