I'm excited that the Launchpad has reopened and we can bring our sewing group back to the library. It was nice to see that the area was updated with more small tables, irons and ironing boards. I look forward to many more fond memories of teaching others just sew at the Daytona Beach Library. The sewing group meets on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. all are welcome! Sometimes we're working on specific projects sometimes we work on our own projects. Join us and learn a new skill

Yes, all branches in the Volusia County Library system including the Daytona Beach Regional Library have internet available. The internet can be accessed using a public access computer or using your own device that can connect to our free WiFi.
My opinion: Library's should NEVER be closed during working hours, to the public. People really depend on the Library for business. I don't mind art shows or any other shows, but I feel the library should still be opened.

Thank you for your interest in Volusia County Library system. Presently we are under a Limited Capacity opening and have not yet been able to welcome back our Volunteer workforce. The Friends of Library/Store is run by volunteers. We also do not yet have a time-line when we can return our volunteers to work or seek new ones; though we do not foresee being able to do so for the remainder of the calendar year. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Yes, except if you have a card in Flagler, Putnam or 2 other counties I can't think of at this time, you can get a card at our library as long as you have that other card with you. You can purchase a library card $30 for 6 months or $50 for a year.
You can bring them to the library any weekday afternoon. Come to the front desk first and someone will guide you.
