By 8 AM nothing is stocked yet . The Meat case is not filled seafood not put out in cold case, sale tags not put up. Self check outs don't give back coin change. Will not be shopping here again

The union here protects none of their employees and instead protects it's toxic abusive managers. This place needs to be investigated and the manager Zach is a P.O.S and a coward. The star bucks manager beats her husband and abuses employees as well. This is what the Safeway union facilitates and approves of.

I stopped in susanville, California and this location had issues with being fully stocked, this was my first time noticing this when grocery shopping since supply has been an issue. It was very quiet and few people in the store shopping. I think it's possible they are shopping in Reno to get better variety and lower prices during this supply problem and inflation. I got what I needed mostly but had to do without a few things and change brands in a few products but I was glad to get what I did and not have to wait until I got to bigger town before shopping since I am in an RV traveling.

The Safeway Deli has reached a new low. I ordered a footlong sandwich with roast beef and plenty of other fixing. For $14.99 I received basically a sandwich with a thin slice of meat, a thin slice of cheese, and almost nothing else. This was a waste of $15. I wouldn't have paid $5 if I saw what "Amanda" did to build this sandwich. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other delis in Susanville that won't skimp, and will charge less.

$17.99 to $21.99 seem to be the average cost for cakes st Safeway bakery.
I don't know I don't work for Safeway
Because you are in the middle of nowhere and there are no other stores besides the IGA in Susanville
Corporate cutbacks in hours for labor means graveyard workers don't have time to checkout customers, and increasing theft late at night.
I'm sorry I haven't gotten one there. But I would do as Mr. Moffett suggested.
