A grand old church that has survived two fires in its early history and now has the best small choir in northern California. Our current pastor is Ms. Theresa Woodfolk a plain spoken but very dynamic speaker who uses lessons from the Bible to guide our daily lives.

We're pretty sure we're the oldest church in town. :) The town itself was incorporated on August 24, 1900. The first Methodist church building was built in Susanville in 1875 under the pastorate of Rev. Warren Nims, and church services officially began in 1876. Fire destroyed the church in 1900, and a new brick church was built on the same site at the corner of Lassen and Cottage streets.
