In town they do but not in the rural areas such as Herlong and Doyle.

Not the common City Route. If you are a Veteran and need to roll somewhere, then you need to call ahead 24hrs and let them know. If you are disabled and of a certain age then I believe Dial-A-Ride will be the call for that. Again a 24hr call for heads up. Safe bet is a call from a landline or since the world is turning mobile, wait, it always has been, but since phones are truly mobile, give LRB a shout out and hear it from the horses mouth.
