Due to a traffic light not working because of wildfires, I ended up in a small fender-bender to which Officer Pratt responded. He was polite, respectful, and funny. As an out-of-towner, I appreciated his assistance in finding a reliable place to get my vehicle repaired. He followed up the next day with a phone call to check on me and my rig. While I cannot speak to the entire department, I'm glad to report that Officer Pratt seemed a genuinely nice guy who likes where he lives, and it shows. Stay safe and be blessed! ~THC

Pulled over for a flat and I think he said his name was Brandon, pulled over and check on me. Helped me get back on the road. Really good officer. Thank you Lassen County CHP for having great officers on your team.

if 5 or more cars get backed up behind you, the rule is to pull off when safe to do so and let them pass.
