Sad that the lake took a dip, but the Marina store is still a top notch establishment. FULL of Everything you need for camping, boating, fishing , replenishing used up supplies, ice, drinks, lunch, dinner, snacks, and more. I never got to try the BBQ but heard it was good. Call the store for the latest lake info, and they got that too. Forgot to bring something, they got that too. Great people.

My friends and I went to the store and wanted to rent a boat for fishing and viewing. We were told that there were only pontoon boats and fishing is not allowed on that kind of boats. We respected their terms but would like to ask their manager to see if we can fish with keeping the boat clean. However, after we asked, the manager came out and was very angry. She said fishing is not allowed and even we promised to follow the term she won't trust us and will keep us under radar because we planned to fish. We were shocked by what she said and the way she talked to us. I understand she may get some bad behaving customers but I don't think we deserve that type of experience by just simply asking. We just wanted to double check and would follow the term if it is not negotiable. But what I felt is that I was not welcomed at all. Well I understand bussness owners can choose not to serve certain customers but I don't think we did any thing wrong. We decided not to rent their boats because as well educated people visiting there for fun, we don't want to be watched like someones have bad intentions.
