Recently implemented bad rules. They now turn off the splash pad and kick kids out of the 6ich kiddie pool during adult swim. If you show up 5 mins before adult swim, too bad you now have to sit out with complaining children and can't even let your kids spend their energy at the splash pad. They claim it's to help the parents and give kids a break - maybe help the bad parents who can't reliably tell their children to get out when it's time to go. They also implemented swim bands. As a former life guard, this is a bad idea. Kids compete to gain access to the green band. Even a bad swimmer can complete the test (saw it all the time as a guard). These bands give lazy guards a false sense of security. Lifeguarding is not hard, I did it for 7 years, and you have to evaluate every swimmer on the stand and not their band color. Shame it's gotta this way, it's a fantastic pool with a cool slide and splash pad. I used to work here and I feel bad for the lifeguards who have to implement these authoritarian rules, kicking 1 year olds out of a puddle pool.
