Hi Jason, This is Teri from the Evergreen. You're more likely to see deer, squirrels, birds and other forest friends during your stay. Some guests get luck and see bears while out exploring, and you do need to be careful to follow speed limits when driving so you don't accidentally hit a bear who may be crossing the road. Vintage Cabin rates range from $270 to $330 per night, depending on when you visit. You will find the best rates and service when booking directly on our website. www.EvergreenLodge.com Our Recreation team is also available onsite to help you plan your adventures. You can either pay to join one of our professionally guided tours, or simply visit the Rec Desk and they'll be more than happy to give you free local insights on the best adventures for you to explore on your own. Happy trails! Teri and the Evergreen team
Yes
Hello Lu Yi, Everyone is correct - cooking is not permitted at the Evergreen, except in the John Muir House and now Kay's Nest which are both custom residences that we rent in addition to our cabins that you see listed on Expedia. We have a Restaurant and Tavern that serve delicious freshly prepared food. If you visit during Summer you also have the option to enjoy our poolside BBQ which runs through the first weekend in September. Happy Trails, Teri
Hi Richard - this is Teri from the Evergreen. Check in is at 3:30pm, and check out is at 11am. On extremely busy days it can be challenging to have every cabin clean and ready to go by 3:30pm, but there are plenty of fun things to do if you have to wait a bit. We've got a game room, a Recreation Center where you talk to our Recreation team about your plans to explore the area, our historic Tavern is awesome, and you'll have a lovely time visiting with our friendly staff and your fellow guests. Enjoy!
