Very grateful and it was the best decision to have them as my lawyers in my work accident case. An excellent service. I thank Wendy Vargas who always answered all my questions with great kindness.

2 years ago my company allowed me to get injured at work. I allowed for the mistreatment, I allowed the lack of communication being given to me by workers comp, the constant change of status, the doctor ignoring my pleas of pain all for a year. Once I visited another doctor who told me I wasn’t receiving the proper treatment I needed to get better, I was filled with rage. I finally said enough is enough and I began looking for a lawyer. I called, spoke to a lovely lady name Wendy who made me feel validated, heard, and not crazy for feeling the way I did. She passed my case along to Chris who not only did an amazing job keeping me up to date but won my case with even better results than we hoped for. I should mention I moved 2-3 times to different states in the span of 2 years while this was happening, and their team did an amazing job accommodating to my on the go lifestyle. I cannot thank them enough, in a terrible experience Chris and Wendy were definitely the light. Thank you guys again!

On December 19, 2019 my wife was struck by an inattentive driver, while traveling North on Rt. 80. Fortunately she is alive; however the permanent physical and emotional damage is self-evident. I was able to contact Mr. Maggiano’s office through the recommendation of a dear friend. (Mr. and Mrs. R) (and at this time I also want to express my gratitude to them). Mr. Michael Maggiano and his team possess the knowledge which combined with his empathetic understanding of human suffering is one the many attributes that I find. Mr. Maggiano and Linda are great listeners, and they made us feel that they had a genuine care for my wife’s pain and suffering. His ability to communicate verbally with his clients is remarkable. His deep understanding of the law makes him a passionate, talented, and effective litigator They took time to elaborate on all of our questions and concerns and Mr. Maggiano led the way with meticulous, courteous and clear legal steps that needed to be addressed. His tenacity and perseverance allowed us to move forward despite the adversities. There are many dedicated professionals in the legal area, however I find Mr. Maggiano’s law firm on top of the list, because they represent the highest ideals of justice. Michael Maggiano and his team deserve the recognition and accolades for their hard work. Michael was able to produce the legal results that were fair, despite the fierce opposition. Without reservation I highly recommend Mr. Maggiano and his legal team to anyone in need.

In New Jersey, the statute of limitations for truck accident claims is two years from the date of the crash. Similarly, a wrongful death claim must be brought within two years of the date your loved one died from injuries sustained in a trucking accident. We suggest you do not hesitate on bringing your claim to a truck accident lawyer as soon as possible.
Our office handles both personal injury and workers compensation matters. This can range from motor vehicle collisions, from auto to trucking and bus accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, construction site accidents, toxic torts and medical malpractice.
A contingency fee has been called the poor man’s key to the courthouse. You agree to pay a percentage of the amount your attorney obtains for you in exchange for the legal representation and expertise of the attorney. This fee is paid from the proceeds of the settlement, so you do not have to pay any money out of your own pocket to get aggressive protection of your rights. If there is no recovery, there is no fee.
We ahve been serving New Jersey accident and injury victims for over 45 years.
All of our work is done on a contingency basis, so there is no need for payment plans.

Generally, you have two years to file a personal injury claim in New Jersey.
Our team is always available to you.
You should bring anything and everything that has to do with what happened to you. Depending on the nature of what happened, this can include medical records and X-rays, photographs, letters received, police reports, or insurance documentation. While it is important to bring everything you can think of that has to do with what happened, don’t worry about forgetting something important; the lawyer you meet with will specifically request anything he needs to fully evaluate your case.
Yes, our attorneys often meet with clients on night and weekends in our Ft. Lee office. We are also available for video calls by Zoom if you are unable to make it into our office due to your schedule.
You are entitled to be fully compensated for your injuries. The amount necessary to compensate you fully obviously causes the most problems in arriving at a settlement figure acceptable to both sides. There is usually little argument over the compensation for the time missed from work and lost wages, doctor and hospital bills, and rehabilitation costs. You will have receipts for expenses such as these. The controversy arises when you attempt to put a dollar value on the more intangible injuries you have suffered, such as emotional distress, pain and suffering, loss of future earnings and loss of future enjoyment of life. Your lawyer will be able to advise you more specifically about the compensation potential for your specific situation.
Yes, you can still have a case if you are partially at fault. Under New Jersey Statutes Annotated 2A:15-5.1, the fault for an accident can be assigned to multiple parties, including the injury victim. The percentage of fault that you are determined at trial can reduce a jury verdict in your favor.
This depends upon the type of accident in which you are involved. If you are involved in an automobile accident, your automobile insurance will most likely pay for your medical expenses. In the event of a slip and fall incident, your health insurance will likely pay for your medical treatment.
