Dr. Is the best!! Office staff have no empathy!! Dad died 89 up north. 4 days short of my appointment. Had drug test report done. Can't see the dr. In 2 weeks, 4 weeks , 6 weeks with out meds!!! Don't have a life changing emergency, they don't care*

Dr. Colon and his entire staff are very friendly and caring. He takes great pains to go through a thorough process to give you a proper evaluation before deciding on what he can do to help. He does not just throw pills at you so you'll quit complaining and leave; he doesn't believe in that and I love that in a Dr. He wants to know where you are having issues, how often, and he'll run the proper tests to see what is going on. If your medication isn't working he wants to know that too. Also, the ladies in his office are very upfront and knowledgeable so if you have questions or are having problems filling out the clipboards you can always ask and they will help the best of their ability.

Don't know how some of you that have 1 star ratings complain so much, if u have a bad rating is most likely bc you were deemed not severe enough or doctor shopping to begin with, the doctor has always been very nice and up front and truthful about the facts bc it is his job to be truthful and upfront about your medical problems, I wish I did not have to see a pain management doctor and would do anything to change my medical if I could but I am glad to have good doctors with these severe medical conditions I have .

Dr. Raphael Santiago was great doctor he was very nice he helped me out can't say anything bad about him but the staff into the office needed a lot of help they needed to have some customer service some personality training and learn how to talk to people I'm not very pleased with them I will be seeking another doctor now because of them the insurance that they use which is my insurance had to had a problem or a glitch that would could not be immediately fixed they told me after I drove 45 minutes to the office to see a doctor after I had spoken to the lady in the office said I could make a token payment to make sure that they had money from me and know that I was serious they did would not allow me to see the doctor so I'm very sorry for him I will pray for the office staff to find out why in the world they are so mean and so nasty to a patient because I thought doctors are supposed to help people and the people in your office is supposed to help the people going to see the doctor but I guess that's not the case here so all the best I would not refer you to this practice because of the office staff.

I dont know what all insurances they accept, but you can give them a call & ask. They have 3 offices, in New Port Richey 727-834-8833, Wesley Chapel, 813-907-3300, and Dads City 352-567-4117. Dr. Colon (pronounced Ka-lone) has been my doctor for a few years now. He's good, even tho sometimes he seemingly lacks empathy..
