This is the worst experience. The owner of the property I’m renting is selling the property, I’ve been given a 90 day notice and they’re willing to pay relocation fees BUT Hacla is prolonging the process, my worker Ms Leyva is ignoring my emails and I’ve been waiting for a voucher two months. By the time I get the voucher the relocation money will be off the table so I end up with a voucher and no money to move. It’s like section 8 is pushing people in the streets at this point. I have 4 kids so this has been very stressful and although the help is appreciated they’ve hindered my progress now and for that I would say avoid this program if u can because for as much as it helps it also hurts.

These people are evil, I needed very important (yet simple) paperwork and it has been more than a week since I've gotten any response to something I NEED that is time sensitive, they are negatively impacting my life

My Grandmother is on section 8 and for the second year in a row her advisor had supposedly sent her the yearly paperwork and she would receive a letter saying that her section 8 would be terminated . It wasn't until we called her advisor that he was able to send them . The advisors should be held accountable for not doing their job

Office is closed to go inside, but I saw people dropping off their paperwork in the drop off box just outside the main entrance. There is a security officer inside so if you need assistance, information, he will be able to direct you to what you need to do.

Tuesday and Thursday are walk in days but due to Covid-19. I'm not sure what's their schedule. If you're dropping off your yearly certification, there's a drop box outside the door. You can drop it off there.
