I have had a few operations in my life but never would I have expected to have such a good outcome from having my knee replaced, it's been only 5 weeks since my surgery and I just finished 9 holes of golf and feeling great thanks to Dr. Messieh....

During a recent total knee replacement, I had the most positive experience I have ever had. The entire staff of Dr. Messieh's office and Winter Haven Hospital were phenomenal! I am 2-1/2 weeks out from my surgery and am walking without a walker or a cane. If you need knee replacement, Messieh Orthopedic Clinic is the ONLY place to go.

Do you use ROSA for knee surgery? Robotic Surgical Assistant

Sally Mitchell | Sep 21, 2020
Messieh Orthopedic Clinic | Sep 21, 2020

An experienced knee surgeon will deliver a great outcome without use of robotics. High volume experienced surgeons produce the best and most consistent results. Robotic devices for knee replacement in their current state of the art have not yet proved their usefulness and in fact may cause further problems of increased operative time, potential delays related to equipment failure and deficient support, potential increased infection risk, increased risk of stress fractures or pain at pin site placement, and decreased operating room efficiency. You will often see these robotic devices being advertised by the manufacturer to promote sales of their product or by some surgeons or institutions as a marketing tool to patients
