Only get GMC worked on here so wouldnt know. You want bad service drive to Orlando.

I have a 2010 gmc truck I owe a little over 12 thousand dollars and I want a slightly stronger truck, can I take the other truck and spend the equivalent of the previous one or do I have to pay the dealer in full before taking the other

Yes, you can trade it, but they probably won't give you the monetary value you would get from a private sale. The best thing you can do is go see Mike and ask.
