I’m very happy with my decision to go to doctors direct for my primary care. Nice, stress free atmosphere and healthcare professionals who have my best interests in mind and are my health care advocates ALL of the time! Highly recommend and well worth the investment!

As a fellow health care provider, patient centered care is something I seek out from providers for my own health. Joining doctor direct and working with Dr. Amy and her nurse has been an absolute joy. They spend time discussing my concerns and plan of care, with genuine warmth. I never felt like a burden or like I was being rushed out the door. Care is always customized, with education and feedback based on what was best for me and whatever situation I was enduring. I highly recommend doctor direct!

I’m blessed to have found Dr Amy and Nurse Amy. Absolutely will not use anyone else as the head of my preventative and wellness heath care team. I make it a point to tell people I care about to have a consultation here ASAP. Health is wealth. Thanks for always coming through for me.

Questions & Answers

Can you use them if you have no relatives or friends to use as ”emergency contact”. I can definitely afford it, but there is only me.

Although an emergency contact is not a requirement, it sure is helpful if the needs arises.

Does Drs Direct count as minimum health insurance qualifying for the IRS Tax mandate?

No. Direct primary care is not insurance nor does it take the place of an ACA qualified plan. We recommend that you do have insurance to comply with Federal Law. doctor direct is not an insurance plan, nor does it replace insurance. Ideally, we encourage our patients to carry a high deductible, major medical plan or a plan with a health savings account. Another option many of our patients use is a Share Plan. Having a high deductible or a share plan ensures financial help should hospitalization or referral to a specialist be necessary. You should consult with your insurance provider to help you find a plan that works best with our medical model and that will meet your specific needs.

No they do not take insurance but they do see seniors. It's a once a month fee depending on your age directly withdrawn from your checking.
