Rude and incompetent staff at this location , especially Roxy. She needs to go. Not good public servants. Terrible experience . Your should avoid this location . Also they never answer the phone , which they admitted to. Hope I never have contact with them again.

I went into the office expecting to be there for hours. I was greeted by a nice lady out front who took me back to a nice lady that helped me and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They were very sweet and very professional

Medicaid is not Medicare so no on Medicaid you can call or go online for S.S card. Hope this helps Medicaid is welfare department.
When will people be able wall in to the social security
You can rpequest one but you get it in the mail in three weeks
No that is the unemployment office not S.S.
Phone always 1st
Create your mySocialSecurity account at SSA.gov you can then view your records and see benefit amounts at various ages.
You can find the houses online for your area.
Walk into office. Be sure to bring all the adoption paperwork as well as your own ID.
You can make an appointment
Was on hold for over 40 min. No one ever answered. Contacted Congressman Bob Good. The SSOC office called ME the next day. Typical govt agency.
You will need to call and make appt.if you want to speak with someone. Office is open by appointment only. Always have I.D. handy .
Call the local office number. Stay on hold. It may take a while but they will answer. I was on hold for a good while. They are all working from home, the days rotate for who's answering phones. Also keep in mind they are short staffed like everyone else. Not sure how the calls are going through, but I know there's been some electric issues up Timberlake. You can call the main SSA number and let someone call you. Even if you get through on the local number there is no way to be transferred to who's working with you. Your best bet may be to call the federal number. Working remotely is a massive pain. Not just for us but for them too. BTW for every worker they have, each of them has about 7000 clients to deal with. Be patient. I know it's frustrating. Call the main SSA number. You can get that from 211. Or the white pages if you have a book. Or Google it if you can. Good luck. Honestly, the main number is probably best.
I would let them know if you are receiving any benefits from them or if you have moved from another state.
Call or go online.
visit the following and enter your zip code for local information https://www.ssa.gov/locator/
Call the 800 number. You can look it up on the internet.
Yes online is easiest. and if you register with ss it makes transactions easier as well.
Go online at www.ssa.gov file online.
Not normally unless you’ve initiated a claim with us. If caller says your SSN has been used in some illegal activity and is suspended it is a scam call. Just hang up. Don’t engage or send them any funds or purchase gift cards.
Normally 9 months. Call 1-800-772-1213 to discuss your individual situation.
He can call SSA at 1-800-772-1213 to discuss his individual situation.
Try contacting Medicare. 1-800-Medicare. Or go to www.cms.gov
Call first but I believe you take I. You first pay stub
Go to your State offices for birth certificate not SSA.
No
You have to apply as her caregiver
No
When u go down there they will give u a piece of paper that has ur ss# on it. U can go before ur appt and get that paper.
Call 1-800-772-1213
Call 1-800-772-1213
Yes. Go to www.medicare.gov for more information.
I do not have d answer for that. An answer for that: go to social security for that question.
Call 1-800-772-1213 to file for possible SSA benefits for the child on father’s record. Contact local domestic relations court for child support question.
Go to local office to apply to become his payee. Bring your ID and if you have it, proof of your mother’s death. Assuming your brother is an adult bring him along to reduce delays. If he is a minor you will need paperwork showing you have custody of him.
Service is free. If you have a VA drivers license try setting up a my Social Security account at www.ssa.gov then request replacement card online. If going to office bring current ID such as drivers license. If changing name also need documents such as marriage license or divorce decree.
Create a my Social Security account at www.ssa.gov. Can then view benefit amount and options for self and family.
Call 1-800-772-1213 to ask about filing for lump sum benefit? Inquire about any widows benefits and about filing for the underpayment due on your husband’s record. Sorry for your loss.
Part A comes automatic. See link for part C https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Medicare-Advantage/MedicareAdvantageApps/index.html
If it has been more than 3 weeks recontact SSA office. If adopted children are from another country delay may be due to verification requirement from Homeland Security.
May need birth certificate, Direct Deposit information, if in military DD-214. If applying on spouses record their SSN. Marriage license and/or divorce decrees. Can file retirement online at SSA.gov
If certified by the Agency or entity that issued the documents yes
You can walk in. You can make an appointment but you don't have to. Some services do require an appointment after you go such as disability, etc. But they will make it there.
What type do they get? SSI isn't taxable but your best bet would be to call and ask. SSDI is taxable (to the best of my knowledge) but SSI is not as I mentioned above so it doesn't need to be reported on a tax return. Again, make sure you call if you haven't already for the most accurate information regarding your question.
I would like to go back to work part time but am on disability how dose that work???
