This was the best park I've seen in Virginia. It was very clean, and well managed.

Used trail...hard surface trail, saw some groundhogs, follows river and can bicycle on, easy to find with excellent info signs.

This would be an okay take out point from the bridge downtown, but if you launch here, the next access is at Angler's Park which is less than a mile downstream, and then at the Milton Boat landing, which is about 6 miles of muddy slow flowing nothing. Unfortunately, not the greatest section of the Dan River to paddle.
No.
There's signs posted on the Riverwalk trail that says don't feed the wildlife. But people do all the time.
On July 4th at the Carington Pavilion
Yeah they have one. It's on the left when you pull into the park entrance. A few ramps and rails. Decent park. Never crowded
No they dont, can go to one of the boat landings and put in .
Doubt this is the place for these questions. Probably should contact Danville's parks department directly.
