I’m not even sure how I ended up all the way in Raleigh from Durham but I didn’t see or hear from a doctor or therapist at least 72 hrs into being there and none of my family could get through to me even with my code. I don’t ever want to be there again. I’m grateful for any experience but not when I’m losing a piece of me. Reaping and sowing.

All this hospital did for me was just wasted my time & they didn’t help me at all. I had to help myself when I got back home. They did help me get back on the right path with medication. I did appreciate that… But, all they did was watch me & medicate me. Glad I helped myself & I got myself back together & I am better than ever!! SOO glad I don’t have to go back ever again!!

Whatever you do, DO NOT PUT HIM HERE. The staff is abusive, they brought street drugs in for "special" patients. They are poorly trained and intimidate patients. The place is filthy.

It's not equipped for anything. It's basically prison. They just give you meds and some "group therapy" that amount to bits of high school level psych.

Do not come here for help, find somewhere else. All they will do here is make it worse. Go to an actual Psychiatrist most will take walk ins, and have a crisis center.
