At frst hey I can do this n soon as come in the staff put me in a room with filthy roommate!! And then they put me out fr really no reason after they lied n said they would fix situations n talk to me!! I had very bad experience n here I was homeless fr 15 yrs in Chicago n now I know y ppl choose to sleep outside like I did versus a shelter!!! N cause they put me out in days time instead of giving me time to adjust they were bogus

As a not-so-long-ago Graduate from Lincoln Park C.S., I can tell you that if you're serious about making changes in your life for the better, look no further. But you have to stay focused. Peace 😁

Yes! They really want people to have some source of income so that you can be on a savings program you can't stay there unless you follow the rules and save up your money towards housing, so if you don't have a job, they will most definitely help you find one some kind of way. One of the best ways to stay there is if you join a job training program, maybe you can try Cara Chicago and get a job with their help, they helped me! 🙂👍🏾
Yes on all accounts
Community service would be welcome just in form them what it is you've doing lol.
Yes they do you should call and see when you can drop them off
This is an interrum housing shelter. It a dorm style living arrangement. It's co-ed. And there's a program.

The Brown Elephant is a fantastic place to donate items like this. All proceeds go towards providing health care services to the city.
There is a wait list. But, if you get in, and if you follow the program you should find a place to call home.
You have to call or walk in
Yes you can. I would suggest calling 311 and requesting shelter but Lincoln Park does occasionally take walk ins.
Yes
Yes get referral
Call and ask them in morning
You can call to make sure. But you should be able to during the week Mon-Fri.
There is no wait list You will have to get referral from city of Chicago 10 s. Kedzie
There was a wait list when I applied. The wait can be awhile depending on when a person exits the program. You would go to a church and fill out a paper application. Keep calling every week to inquire about a bed that is available. https://lpcsonline.org/our-programs/ Our Programs - LPCS Chicago - Lincoln Park Community ...
You have to call 311 and get referral to be in LPCS
You have to call 311 to get a referral from the city.

Not really you do have to keep calling to see if there is an opening summer time is slow from the time I was there personally I would keep calling to be informed it's a well run shelter with very good program's but you must stay focus and have an agenda to get the most out of it !

It doesn't matter what color you are. If your serious about changing your life they can make it happen and support you! It's all up to you!!! If your serious about the program they meet at St. Paul's church over on Orchard and Fullerton. Be there by 1:00. There program runs from 1:30- 5:30. You can do laundry , take shower, talk w/ a case manager and they have dinner. It's the #1 shelter in Chicago! I know because i stayed there and i am now in my own place! God bless
Just with the harassment and abuse in endured from her she should have been fired. She's older than dirt, so she should have retired. Given one or the other, why is she still there?
